Terms and Conditions at Doggy Stylz dog Grooming

At appointments you will be given a form to complete and read which involves the below information, by signing the form you agree to all it contains and also the below. This will be held on file for future appointments.

Please always make sure your dogs are up to date with all vaccines/ boosters including Kennel Cough.

Doggy Stylz Dog Grooming will not be held liable for any injury resulting from a dogs sudden movements. Every care is always taken to ensure the groom is carried out as safely as possible.

We can refuse to groom any dog at any time if we feel at risk or uncertain. This is to make sure both the dog and ourselves remain safe.

We do not groom pregnant dogs, please let us know as soon as possible if your dog is pregnant. We do not groom new mothers, please contact us to discuss further before making an appointment.

Drop Off and Pick Up Times;

At Doggy Stylz Dog Grooming we do not hold any crates, so please make sure you arrive at the booked time and agreed pick up time. If you arrive 5 - 10mins late when dropping off your dog we will make sure to do the best we can to complete the groom but it may result in the groom not being completed and still be charged at the full price. If you are late by 10 minutes or more this may mean that the appointment will have to be cancelled and arranged for another day but will still be charged full price for the appointment cost or you will be charged an extra fee for late drop off and the appointment can continue.

On drop off we will give a time of collection or we will send a text 20 mins before. Failure to collect on time will incur a dog collection cancellation fee.  A late charge for dropping off or picking up is £10 per 10 minutes. 

Cancellation Policy:

Please let us know ASAP if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Any appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice or less there will be a cancellation fee of 50% and this needs to be paid before booking another appointment.

Any no shows to any appointments without contact will be charged full price before booking another appointment.

Matted Coat Policy:

Clipping off a matted coat will completely change your dogs appearance and could also aggravate pre-existing skin conditions (usually caused by tight matts)  which we are not to be held liable for.

A matted coat fee is an extra £15 per appointment or a double/extra appointment if needed

Fleas:

If any Fleas are found during the appointment we will let you know ASAP. Depending on the severity of the infestation you may have to collect your dog and still be charged for the full appointment or we will use a Flea Shampoo on your dog as long as no other treatments have been used previously. Flea Shampoo will be an extra charge of £15. Please let us know ASAP if you find any Fleas on your dog before the appointment as we may have to reschedule the appointment. You will still be charged for the appointment if less than 24 hours notice.

Please always make sure your dogs flea, tick and worm treatments are up to date.

Grooming Bitches in Season:

It is possible to groom while a bitch is in season but it may cause more stress and be uncomfortable for your dog. It is best to reschedule the appointment as sometimes grooming a bitch in season can become a negative experience. You will still be charged for the appointment if less than 24 hours notice, unless the season started on the day of appointment.

Aggressive Dogs:

 We reserve the right to refuse an aggressive or highly anxious dog that is a risk to itself and ourself.  If any dog shows any aggression that we have not been informed of during the appointment, the groom may be terminated immediately but will still be charged the full price.

You must inform us prior to the appointment if your dog is aggressive, highly anxious or has previously bitten or has any other behavior that may affect the safety of the grooming process.

Safety
The safety and welfare of your dog, our staff and everyone within the grooming environment is our priority.
We will always take reasonable care and use appropriate professional practices when grooming your dog. However, dogs can move suddenly or unpredictably, and grooming can sometimes reveal previously unknown health, skin or behavioral conditions.
By booking and attending an appointment, you confirm that you have provided us with all relevant information about your dog and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
